Safe Haven Farms needs volunteers: 

We are still in start up mode and have many project needs, large and small, around the farm.   If you have a group that would like to work on one of these projects, then email us at volunteer@safehavenfarms.org and a) let us know the size of your group b) which project you would like to do c) your possible dates and d) please include your name and phone number.

Group Volunteer needs include the following:
1.    Build tool room and workshop in barn lean-to area
2.    Construct and install benches along our walking trails through the woods

3.    Build large deck for pond … provide level surfacefor picnic table, patio table with chairs and awning, pier to fish from, etc.

4.    Landscaping projects
a.    Pull out bushes along office and replant beds
b.    Remove tree
c.    Weeding in all landscaped areas

d. Create attractive entrance to property – plantings

5. Install privacy fence and gates around dumpster pad
6. Build some outdoor benches at strategic locations

7.    General upkeep
a.    Mowing
b.    Weedwacking
c.    Bush hogging
d.    Plant more gardens

8.    Begin to tear down stalls in back half of barn to create space for future indoor riding arena
9.   Build a gazebo near softball field and basketball court
